Every now and then I need a little help - this would be one of those times. I am having some trouble with Lightroom 2.0 and Photoshop and I need your help! Check out the video - it explains better than typing it out.

I've seen a lot of people having this issue on the adobe forums. Windows users seem to get the phantom archive - I use mac and while I don't have the bogus drive I have to resync.

One quick way - although you loose the 2.0 features, is to setup photoshop as you alternate editor and use that link - this forces it to work just like it did in lightroom 1.4, create and save the new file then open in photoshop.

I have precisely the same problem and would love to hear a solution other than Marks.

I am using LR2 with XP and have not had any problems after saving in PS CS3. When I go back to LR it is right were it should be. I wonder if it is possible that it is a Vista issue?

No - I am running so and vista and the problem appears on both.

I run LR2 on a Vista 64bit machine and I have the same problem that Rick described so well. Must be a bug?

I have a friend with some Adobe connections who is looking into the issue - however, it looks like it is a bug issue for 2.0 which will probably be fixed in 2.0.1 which should be out soon because the current version is not yet compatible with the Nikon D700 NF (RAW) format.
